Artificial intelligence (AI) presents multifaceted implications for liturgical praxis and theological inquiry in Christianity. This study explores eight exploratory trajectories, beginning with AI’s tangible effects on text generation, art, and music in worship, and expanding to its ethical, ecological, and cultural impacts. Theological reflections engage with embodied AI, human-AI hybrids, and posthumanist perspectives that shape religious identity and experience. Structured to move from immediate applications to broader theological and cosmic considerations, the paper offers a wide-ranging framework to stimulate interdisciplinary dialogue. By advocating a critical and creative engagement with AI, it envisions new intersections where ancient traditions meet emerging technologies, enhancing worship’s spiritual depth rather than diminishing it.
